However if you feel that marble splash backs along with natural stone floors may be too dark and heavy for your kitchen instead use ceramic tiles for the splash backs.

Finally to really add a little bit of authenticity to your French country kitchen design you need to include a few accents. The most extensively used types of accents in such a kitchen include rustic urns along with ceramic and terra cotta pottery. Plus copper pots can add to the overall charm of the kitchen design as well.
